Kit Kat to change as Nestlé cuts sugar by 10%

Confectionery manufacturer Nestlé is cutting the sugar content in its chocolate bars and sweets by 10%, a move which will see about 7,500 tonnes of sugar removed from brands like Kit Kat, Yorkie, Aero and Toffee Crisp. By 2018, higher quantities of existing ingredients or other, non-artificial ingredients will replace the sugar, while the calorie count in its products will also be limited, the company said.
